Authentic Italy Tours is a family business that hosts small group tours in some of the most inspiring Italian regions. John and Andrea plan and personally escort each tour. Authentic Italy Tours sets a high standard of hospitality, fine food and wine, combined with  comprehensive local knowledge and dedicated personal service.

Each meticulously planned tour is a journey within a particular Italian region we know well, focusing on authenticity and enjoyment of the hospitality of our many local friends and acquaintances. Our itineraries are shaped by our professional knowledge, personal  background and interest in Italian architecture, archaeology, regional cuisine, gardens and landscape.

While there are occasions to linger, our itineraries are intentionally comprehensive, incorporating places and experiences usually not accessible to independent travellers, such as visits to interesting private residences.
